Frequently asked questions

Good questions, honest answers

Everything hotel, café and rental teams usually ask before booking a shoot, from cost and timing to usage rights and video.

01

How much does hotel photography cost, and what is included?

Hotel and resort shoots start from $1,200. Café shoots start from $300, and vacation rental listings start from $450. Your final quote is scoped to the size of the property, the spaces you want covered and the package that fits your goals.

  • Hospitality Essentials and Hospitality Signature for hotels and resorts
  • Café Essentials ($300): 12 edited photos and 1 short form video
  • Café Signature ($500): 25 edited photos and 2 short form videos
  • Listing Essentials ($450) and Listing Plus ($750) for vacation rentals

Every shoot includes a shot list shared before arrival, professionally edited images with a consistent color grade, full resolution and web ready files, full usage rights and one revision round after delivery. You can see how each option works on the services page, or read a full breakdown in How much does hotel photography cost?

02

What is the difference between Essentials and Signature?

Both hotel packages include photography and short form video, travel and a hosted stay during the shoot. The difference is how much of the story we tell.

Hospitality Essentials includes 25 edited photos and 2 short form videos covering your rooms, common spaces and key amenities. It is the right fit for a refresh, a new room type or a seasonal update.

Hospitality Signature includes 40 edited photos, 3 short form videos and a library of b-roll clips for future posts and ads. It adds fuller editorial coverage: dining, venues, evening light and guest experience moments, so you leave with a complete library for your website, booking platforms and social channels.

Cafés have the same two tiers, Café Essentials and Café Signature, and vacation rentals choose between Listing Essentials and Listing Plus. Not sure which fits? Request a conversation and we will recommend one based on your goals.

03

How long does a shoot take?

It depends on the property and the story we're telling. Hotel and resort shoots are usually spread across a couple of days so we can capture morning light, evening light, dining, and guest moments at their best. Rentals are typically shot within a day, and café shoots usually take a few hours. We'll plan the exact schedule together during our planning call, built around your occupancy and service.

04

Do you travel for shoots?

Yes. Zyre Collective is based in Boca Raton, Florida and works with properties across the United States.

For hotel and resort packages, travel is included in your quote up front, and I request a hosted stay during the shoot. For vacation rental listings, travel is included within about 2 hours of me; beyond that there is a flat trip fee, which is waived when 3 or more homes are shot on the same trip. If I am already photographing nearby, I can often fit in a second property on the same trip.

05

Who can use the photos, and where?

You receive full usage rights with no restrictions. Use your images and video on your website and booking engine, on Airbnb, Vrbo and other booking platforms, across social media, in paid advertising, in print and for press. There are no extra licensing fees for new channels later.

06

How quickly will I receive my photos?

Final edited images are delivered within 5 to 7 business days of the shoot, as full resolution files plus web ready versions sized for fast loading. One revision round is included after delivery if you would like anything adjusted.

07

How should we prepare the property before the shoot?

A little preparation makes a big difference. Before the shoot you will receive a shot list so your team knows which rooms and spaces we will cover and when. On the day, rooms should be fully made up, surfaces cleared of personal items and clutter, and lights working with matching bulbs. Fresh flowers, styled food and drink and a few willing staff or guests add life to the frame.

There is a full checklist in How to prepare your property for a photo shoot.

08

Do you shoot video?

Yes. Short form vertical video is part of Content That Converts and is included in every hotel and café package: 2 videos with Hospitality Essentials, 3 videos plus a b-roll library with Hospitality Signature, 1 video with Café Essentials and 2 with Café Signature. Clips are filmed and edited for Instagram Reels, TikTok and your website. Read more about what to post in Short form video for hotels.

09

Do you work with cafés and vacation rentals?

Absolutely. Café & Restaurant Content covers signature drinks and dishes, your interior and the small moments that turn visitors into regulars, built for Instagram, Google, delivery apps and menus. Vacation Rental Listings covers complete listing photo sets sequenced the way guests scroll on Airbnb, Vrbo and your direct booking site.

10

What are the guest systems?

Guest systems are the second layer of what we do, designed to turn great content into revenue and reviews. A Digital Guest Experience is a branded AI concierge that answers guest questions instantly. Guest Revenue Systems are thoughtfully timed text messages that offer upgrades, dining and experiences. Reputation & Retention follows up after checkout to earn more five star reviews and repeat stays.

11

Can you refresh our content through the year?

Yes. The Growth Partner Program brings us back each season to refresh your photo and video library and keep your guest systems tuned to what is working, so your brand always looks current.

12

How do we book a shoot?

Start by requesting a conversation. We will talk through your goals, recommend the right option and send a short agreement. A 50% deposit holds your date, and you will receive the shot list before the shoot.
